PHOTOS: Candidates engage with students ahead of midterm elections

The Solution Studio offers an alternative to traditional debates and an opportunity for open discussion.

Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Institute for Public Service hosted a series of candidate forums to help address student concerns, including water usage, immigration, affordable housing and mental health. Moderators from local media outlets asked the questions, which were gleaned from focus groups held earlier this year consisting of working-adult MSU Denver students.

The panel videos were recorded and produced by students in MSU Denver’s Department of Journalism and Media Production.
