The Leap Frogs hit their mark on the Auraria Campus Monday, dropping in on the downtown Denver campus to honor students, faculty and staff members who are veterans.

The U.S. Navy Parachute Team dates back to 1969 and is made up of active-duty Navy SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen and support personnel who perform throughout the country.

In addition to honoring veterans, the event on Monday kicked off a pep rally celebrating the MSU Denver women’s volleyball team, which plays in the Rocky Mountain Athletic conference tournament this week as the No. 1 seed. The Roadrunners are the top-ranked team in the country and clinched the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference regular-season title with a perfect 18-0 RMAC record.
