Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Department of Theatre and Dance presented “Gradients: Reimagining in Color,” a collection of dance pieces specially formulated to take viewers on an evocative journey from beginning to end. MSU Denver musicians collaborated with choreographers to compose scores for each piece.

“The production is produced entirely by students,” said Nicole Predki, co-director of MSU Denver’s Dance program. “They start with no funding and no overall concept and work throughout the semester from concept to fruition. It’s a creative small business.”

“Gradients” was choreographed, produced and performed by students from MSU Denver’s Dance Program with support from Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, DTAPP, faculty at MSU Denver and other supporters. The performance took place at the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Theatre on Nov. 12 and 13.
