Logan Schuetz
Logan Schuetz, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences at Metropolitan State University of Denver. His areas of expertise include sports business management, intercollegiate athletics, organizational behavior and sports sales. His research is centered around sports organizations, employee behavior, intercollegiate sports, and analytics in sports.
In addition to teaching, Schuetz has published various articles on sport management. He co-authored “Developing Flourishing Among Employees in the College Sports Workplace,” featured in the Sport, Business, and Management: An International Journal. He has presented at national and international conferences where the Collegiate Sports Research Institute awarded his publication “The Influence of Emotions in the Collegiate Sport Workplace: An Analysis of Sport Employee Pride, Passion, and Engagement,” article of the year in 2023.
Prior to joining MSU Denver, Schuetz served as an assistant professor of Sport Management at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Schuetz also worked closely with the NFL, MLB, and collegiate sports teams in sales, operations, and community relations.
Schuetz earned his Ph.D. in Sport Administration from the University of Northern Colorado and his master’s in Sport Administration and bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, both from Indiana University Bloomington.
