For International Beer Day, RED dropped in on a worldly beer-tasting class in MSU Denver's Brewery Operations Program.

Cheers to beer! In honor International Beer Day, which takes place annually on the first Friday of August, RED dropped in on a Beers of the World class in Metropolitan State University of Denver’s School of Hospitality. Taught by Bernardo Alatorre, lecturer and interim director of MSU Denver’s Brewery Operations Program, the course introduces students 21 and older to beer styles and their historical and cultural influence around the world.

Since its founding in 2015, the Brewery Operations Program has served hundreds of students with courses offering an emphasis on brewing sciences, brewery operations, sales and marketing to support the employment needs of Colorado’s expansive beer industry.
