Daniel Pittman, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Computer Science Department at Metropolitan State University of Denver. His areas of expertise include software development, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, computer networking, virtual reality, and gaming.
With over 15 years of experience in the software industry, Pittman has reaffirmed his passion for human-centered artificial-intelligence research. He has worked as a software engineer and architect at major companies such as Lockheed Martin, Comcast Technology Solutions and Pearson PLC. He has also taught at the University of Denver prior to joining MSU Denver.
Pittman received his master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Denver and his bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida, all in Computer Science.
