About

Victor Mata is the Student Success Specialist for the Immigrant Services Program at Metropolitan State University of Denver. He specializes in CASFA/FASFA completion, tuition classification law, admissions, scholarships, and financial aid for immigrants. His work is dedicated to improving college access for immigrant and other underserved students. 

Mata is also actively involved in the MSU Denver community. He participates in initiatives like the UndocuPeers program and the UndocResource Day Educator’s Summit, where he helps train and support educators from high schools, colleges, and non-profits, all to better assist DACA and undocumented students throughout Colorado. 

Mata earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from MSU Denver.
