About
Steve Long is an adjunct professor in the Engineering Department at Metropolitan State University of Denver. His areas of expertise include engineering policy and transportation planning for highways/roads, public transit and freight rail. He also has expertise in environmental and hydraulic engineering.
With over 38 years of experience in the engineering industry, Long is licensed in seven states in the West and Pacific Northwest regions. He has served as program manager and vice president of the nationally recognized engineering firm HDR Inc.
Long received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Colorado Denver.
