About
Sabina Mlodzianowska, Ph.D., is a lecturer in the Department of Economics at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Her expertise includes international business, emerging economies, foreign trade, foreign direct investment, cross-cultural management, globalization, multinational companies, mining, and Peru.
With more than 20 years of academic experience, Mlodzianowska has designed and led programs, conducted research, and guided students at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Her work bridges economics, international business, and sustainable development, with a strong commitment to fostering global perspectives in education. She has been interviewed by major Peruvian media outlets including El Comercio, Semana Economica, and Gestión.
Before joining MSU Denver, Mlodzianowska held leadership roles as Director of the Graduate School and Director of the master’s program in Operations and Project Management at Universidad de Lima. She also served as Research Associate and Manager at Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business and the Canadian International Resources and Development Institute, and as Academic Director of Programs at the Technological University of Peru. Earlier in her career, she gained professional experience in European multinational companies in foreign trade and logistics.
Mlodzianowska earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Gdansk, Poland, and holds an Executive MBA from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University in Canada.
