Roberto De Mata, M.A. serves as the Project Manager for the SpaceTech Scholars Program at Metropolitan State University of Denver. His areas of expertise encompass diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM, student retention, professional development, community development, and academic coaching. His career focus is centered around equity, mobility, and accessibility for underrepresented students, families, and communities.
Before joining MSU Denver, De Mata was a Professional Academic Advisor at the University of Colorado Boulder.
De Mata earned his Masters of Arts in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from the University of Denver and his Bachelor’s of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Colorado Boulder.
