About

Rebecca Prater, MBA, is a senior lecturer of entrepreneurship in the Department of Management at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Her areas of expertise include financial forecasting, financial literacy, creativity and innovation, the business of fashion, and blending business and spirituality. 

In addition to her faculty role, Prater teaches courses in creativity & innovation, global entrepreneurship, and consulting, and supports students and community members through the Center for Entrepreneurship with business plan development, mentorship and access to startup resources. She is also a published author and transformation coach, known for her book Life Transformed: Six Steps to a Future Beyond Your Imagination, and leads workshops such as “Money as Your Business Partner” and “Breaking Through Barriers to Success.” 

Prater integrates holistic practices into entrepreneurship education, combining strategic business planning with mindset and healing techniques, including Reiki energy healing, Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique, and the RIM (Regenerating Images in Memory) process, to help individuals align personal and professional growth. 

Prater earned a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University and is a certified Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique practitioner.
