About
Neil Pollard, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Management at Metropolitan State University of Denver. His area of expertise includes entrepreneurship, startup strategy, entrepreneurial finance and entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA).
He brings years of experience delivering accelerated, experimental learning, as well as offering mentorship to students and other community campaigns. In addition to teaching, Pollard frequently engages in discussions on entrepreneurial success, entrepreneurial decision-making, strategy and ETA. He presents these topics at academic conferences, community events and corporate engagements.
Prior to joining MSU Denver, Pollard was a teaching assistant in the entrepreneurship program at the University of Denver, where he supported students in the exploration of industrial revolution technologies, assessing market needs and discovering solutions to fill identified gaps.
Pollard earned his doctorate in entrepreneurship and business management from the University of Denver, a Master of Business Administration from Griffith University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship from Brock University.
