About
Jeff Peshut, JD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Finance at Metropolitan State University of Denver. His expertise includes commercial real estate brokerage, asset management, portfolio management and land use consulting. He currently teaches Real Estate Practice and Law and Intro to Real Estate. Peshut is a principal with RealAsset Solutions, LLC, a Licensed Colorado Independent Real Estate Broker and Licensed Colorado Attorney. He is also the creator of the real estate forecasting website/blog, RealForecasts.com
With more than 35 years of professional experience, Peshut is an active leader of many professional investment and real estate companies, serving as past senior vice president at Clarion Partners as well as vice president and director of marketing and leasing at Lowe real estate company in Colorado.
Prior to joining MSU Denver, Peshut taught Real Estate Law in the Leeds School of Business and Real Estate Transactions in the School of Law, both at the University of Colorado Boulder., Additionally, he served as adjunct instructor of Real Estate Broker Pre-Licensing and Continuing Education with Kaplan Real Estate Education, where he created and taught “Commercial Transactions for Residential Brokers”.
Peshut earned his Juris Doctorate in real estate and corporate planning and a Bachelor of Science in Finance concentration in Investments and Banking both from the University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign.
