About
Jeno Balogh, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering Technology at Metropolitan State University of Denver. His areas of expertise include structural analysis, civil engineering, engineering graphics, and engineering and design software development. He teaches courses in Engineering Graphics, Steel Design I and Engineering Graphics – Solid Modeling.
Balogh’s research focuses on structural engineering, sustainable construction systems, timber-concrete composite structures and engineering education. He has authored nearly 30 scholarly publications, including recent work published in the Journal of Structural Engineering and Pollack Periodica. His recent research has explored sustainable structural systems, composite beam design and international collaborations in engineering education.
Before joining Metropolitan State University of Denver, Balogh taught in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado State University.
He earned a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
