Arturo Perez Garcia

Arturo Perez Garcia, B.A., is a certifying official and recruitment specialist for the Office of Veteran and Military Student Services at Metropolitan State University of Denver. 

In his role, he certifies students using veteran affairs (VA) education benefits and recruits prospective military-affiliated students by attending educational fairs, campus events and community college transfer events. He works closely with veterans, active-duty members, and families to help them navigate their educational opportunities. 

Prior to MSU Denver, he served in the U.S. Army, serving one tour of duty in Afghanistan. 

He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from California Polytechnic University Pomona.
