About

Alfredo Sanchez, M.S., is an assistant professor in the Journalism and Media Production Department at Metropolitan State University of Denver. His areas of expertise include journalism, broadcasting, social issues and media ethics.

Prior to joining MSU Denver, Sanchez was the News Director at Telemundo Denver with over 20 years of experience working as an executive producer. He has also taught at Tarrant County Community College and Houston Community College. He is passionate about serving as a link between MSU Denver’s Journalism Department and the Denver media landscape to encourage the participation of broadcasting students in internship programs.

Sanchez earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from Texas Southern University.
