Abbie Kell

Abbie Kell, MSW, is the associate director of Basic Needs and Housing Support at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Her expertise includes case management and providing students with resources for housing and basic needs. 

Prior to joining MSU Denver, Kell functioned as case manager at Mile High United Way. In this role, she managed an extensive caseload of clients, supporting them in the search for resources like rental assistance, appropriate housing, employment, education and mental health counsel. Kell also served as the primary communication facilitator between clients and assistance programs. 

She holds a master’s in social work from the University of Denver and her bachelor’s degree in outdoor recreation and nonprofit management from Murray State University.
