Travis Heath, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Metropolitan State University of Denver. His expertise is in anything psychology, including addiction, relationships, therapeutic change, psychopathology, sports psychology, communication, and sex and gender.
Heath has been teaching full-time at MSU Denver since 2008. He is a faculty advisor and runs the Clinical + Counseling Club at MSU. In addition, he is a former team consultant for the NBA and is a psychologist in a private practice. Heath has also worked as a clinician, researcher and taught classes at Pepperdine University. He co-authored “Interactive Psychology: An Introductory Workbook” in 2012.
Heath received a doctorate in psychology from University of Northern Colorado, a master’s in psychology from Pepperdine University in Southern California, a bachelor’s in psychology from MSU Denver.
